The young golfer will have numerous high-profile supporters as she makes her professional golf debut on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.
The former president, a passionate golfer, operates numerous golf courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she revealed.
She mentioned that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially advised me to play and have fun," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on running the country, so he's quite busy."
Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions recently and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
However she's able to get advice from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He is the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.
"And he's an even better individual. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."
Kai will face some of the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, including world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Officials stated that her participation exposes the sport to new audiences, especially among younger fans.
The social media influencer maintains millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness company.
