Plane Carrying US Defense Secretary Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the plane's windshield, as stated by an official announcement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The aircraft touched down in accordance with established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, among them Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer said in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This incident does not mark the first occasion that a American defense plane transporting a top government figure has encountered mechanical issues.

Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to head back to Washington DC after suffering a mechanical fault.
